Way before the fancy Big Chills, Subways and KFCs, existed an era of restaurants that have seen Delhi flourish and grow, to say the least. Over the years, many restaurants have blossomed in the city but these age-old eateries continue to be looked up at by Delhiites. This list covers a diverse range of eateries that have been here since time immemorial, with only one thing in common – a legacy of palatable dishes.

Right from mouthwatering Shammi Kababs to their melt-in-your-mouth Mutton Patty, the savory dishes form less than even half of the goodies at this delightful place. The other half is dedicated to preparing the best sweets in town. Whether it is their Chocolate Truffle Cake, New York Cheesecake, Red Velvet pastry or chocolates, everything is dreamlike.
