Get Excited About Christmas At A Cake Mixing Ceremony At The JW Café in Mumbai

It’s some time before Christmas, but across the world cake mixing ceremonies have already begun. Cake mixing is when dried fruits are soaked in a variety of liquors in the months leading up to Christmas, so that when they are baked into cakes and cookies they’ll impart a wonderful flavour.

Never participated in the exciting ceremony before? Don’t fret; if you’re in Mumbai the JW Cafe at the JW Sahar is hosting a cake mixing ceremony this Sunday, along with their legendary Sunday brunch.

After stuffing yourself with the JW Cafe’s decadent buffet spread (think eggs done a thousand ways, sushi and waffles), head to their patio and start soaking raisins, sultanas, cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger in brandy and rum.

While you’re getting your hands full of fruits and spices, a DJ will be playing some fun tunes and bartenders will be mixing exciting cocktails to help get you into the festive mood.
